How estimate information is handled
This policy describes the information collected through the fynsthomepainting estimate flow and how it is used.
Information we collect
When you request an estimate, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, postal code, project details, pricing inputs, the page you submitted from, and any project photos you choose to upload.
Why we use it
We use this information to calculate and review an estimate, respond to your request, clarify scope, schedule work if you proceed, prevent abuse, and maintain reasonable business records.
Project photos
Photos are optional. They should show only the surfaces relevant to the estimate. Do not upload identification documents, financial information, private correspondence, people, or anything unrelated to the painting project.
Service providers and location
The current service uses third-party hosting and database infrastructure. Estimate records may be processed or stored outside Canada, including in the United States, and may therefore be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
Retention and security
We keep estimate information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, business records, dispute handling, or legal obligations. We use technical controls intended to reduce unauthorized access, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Analytics and advertising measurement
We may use website analytics and advertising measurement tools to understand visits, estimate starts and completed requests, and to measure advertising results. These tools are enabled only when the related production configuration is active and may process device, browser, page and campaign information through third-party providers.
Sharing
We do not sell estimate submissions. Information may be shared with service providers that operate the website, database or communications workflow, and with a painting crew or subcontractor when needed to quote or perform a project you have asked us to arrange.
Your choices
You do not have to upload photos. You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with an estimate, subject to records we may need to retain for legal or legitimate business purposes.
